This site contains many you tube videos that are blocked by the schools server. One way to view the videos is to download the videos and convert to a useful format. Zamzar.com is a free site that allows you to download the videos and be able to show in class.
- Go to zamzar.com
- Click on download videos.
- Copy the URL of the you tube video.
- Choose the format of your liking. I choose wmv since the school uses Microsoft products.
- Enter your email address and within couple of minutes you will receive an email about downloading the video.
- Download the video and save to your computer or a portable hard drive
Those of you that teach in West Virginia and are wanting to get YouTube videos unblocked then you can submit for a unblocking request.
